Description
In the certified Stop the Bleed training program, we teach basic life-saving skills for controlling bleeding, as bleeding is the most common treatable cause of death from injury.
Following the course, participants will get trained in:
- Direct pressure
- Tourniquet
- Packing
- Hemostatic dressings
Who can apply for the course
Everybody. From laypeople to physicians.
Duration
According to the official program, the duration is 90 – 120 minutes, however, if there is availability from the participants, it may last a little longer.
Certificate
Participants will receive the American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed certificate.
