IMMEDIATE LIFE SUPPORT COURSE

 

Program Description

The aim of the ILS program is to train and certify health professionals in Immediate Life Support.

 

Training includes:

  1. Lectures on Causes & Prevention of Cardiac Arrest
  2. The Advanced Life Support (ALS)
  3. Demonstrations from trainers
  4. Practical training that takes place in small groups and includes:
    • ABCDE Approach
    • Initial resuscitation & defibrillation
    • Airway management & ventilation
    • Cardiac arrest scenarios

 

During practical skills, participants assume the role of the Member and the Team Leader of a resuscitation team.

 

Who can apply for the course

The program is addressed to healthcare professionals and rescuers.

 

Duration

9 hours

 

Material

Candidates should study the course manual and fill in the obligatory pre-test. Also, on the day of the course, they will receive their personal folder with the schedule, block, pen and name tag.

 

Certification

Participants are certified by the European Resuscitation Council, which is the highest rank in Europe and is of course world-wide recognized. The certification is valid for 3 years.
