FIRST AID IN THE WORKPLACE
Program Description
The aim of this Program is to inform and train on the immediate and proper management of situations that can endanger the health and life of a worker, such as:
- Basic Life Support
- Bleeding – bandaging
- Amputation – application tourniquet
- Immobilization of fractures
- Crush Syndrome
- Head and spinal injuries
- Burns and scalds
- Electrocution
- Poisoning
- Epileptic seizures
- Heart attack
- Stroke
- Drowning
- First Aid kit
The program can be tailor made to the conditions and risks that exist in each workplace.
It includes theoretical (with the use of slides and videos) and practical training (in small groups).
Who can apply for the course
The course is addressed to ALL those – employers and employees – who want to be informed and trained on the latest First Aid guidelines.
Duration
It depends on the program chosen.
Certification
The certification of the European College of Sports and Exercise Physicians – ECOSEP, which is recognized in all European countries, is awarded to all successful participants and is valid for 2 years.
