ΒASIC INSTRUCTOR COURSE
Program Description
In this program the candidates are taught the basic principles of adult learning and teaching, how to teach skills (the 4-step method), how to deliver a lecture, how to evaluate BLS/PBLS providers, and how to handle difficult candidates.
Who can apply for the course
Participants who have attended the BLS or/and PBLS provider course, their certificate is valid and want to become BLS and/or PBLS Instructors can participate.
Duration
8 hours
Material
Candidates should study the manual that will be sent to them and prepare themselves for the teaching of skills as instructed in the manual.
Also, on the day of the course, they will receive their personal folder with the schedule, block, pen and name tag.
Certification
After the course, successful participants are Instructor Candidates.
To become a Full Instructor, they must take part in at least two BLS and/or PBLS courses (with a Full Instructor).Then, in order to maintain the status of Instructor, one has to participate in at least two BLS and/or PBLS courses every two years.
